IS THE DIAMOND ASSESSMENT PACKAGE COMPLETELY FREE?
Yes. There is no change and no hidden fees. Just fill out the request form and a Diamond Assessment Package will be sent to you completely free.

WHAT WILL I GET PAID FOR MY DIAMOND JEWELRY?
Our diamond evaluation team will assess the quality of your diamond by using the 4 C´s – carat, cut, color and clarity. Based on their assessment, you will be paid according to the current diamond market price.

WILL I RECEIVE RETAIL PRICE FOR MY DIAMONDS?
No. Unfortunately, manufacturers´ list prices or suggested retail prices (MSRP) are highly inflated in relation to what the item can actually be purchased for. Comparing the diamond's actually value to the MSRP is an unreliable.

WILL YOU PAY ME THE APPRAISED AMOUNT FOR MY DIAMOND?
We issue payment according to the diamond´s quality and the current diamond market (not appraisals). An appraisal usually tells you how much it would cost to replace your item with a new one. Our payment is how much we can pay according to the current market value for your stones.

CAN YOU GIVE ME AN EXACT PRICE BEFORE SEEING AN ITEM?
Unfortunately, we cannot. Because so many factors are taken into account, we must see the diamonds to make accurate determinations of value.

WHAT IF I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH THE PAYMENT I RECEIVE?
If you are not satisfied, please return the check to us within 10 business days of the date on the check. Upon receiving the check back, we will send your diamonds back to you – no questions asked.

I HAVE DIAMOND JEWELRY, BUT I'M NOT SURE IF THE DIAMONDS ARE AUTHENTIC. CAN I STILL GET MONEY FOR THE JEWELRY?
The diamond evaluation team will assess if the stones are diamonds or not. If not, you can still receive money for the metal the stones are set in. For example, if the stones are set in gold, we issue you payment for the value of the gold.

I JUST WENT THROUGH A DIVORCE AND WANT TO SELL MY ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING BANDS. HOW DO I KNOW WHO LEGALLY HAS OWNERSHIP OF THE RINGS?
This is a tricky question. State laws differ in who legally owns the ring in a divorce or engagement break up. We suggest that you refer to your state laws to confirm the rule in your state. We will not be held liable in any disagreements of ownership.

WHAT TYPE OF DIAMOND JEWELRY DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all jewelry containing diamonds including: engagement rings, wedding bands, promise rings, estate pieces, diamond bracelets, diamond earrings, diamond pendants, diamond necklaces, diamond broaches , diamond watches, loose diamonds fancy colored diamonds (pink, blue, yellow), diamonds of all shapes (round, marquis, pear, heart, cushion, radiant, oval, princess, emerald and asscher).

HOW CAN I TRACK MY PACKAGE THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS?
You have the option to send your items via FedEx. This will allow you to track your shipment using the FedEx tracking system. Once we receive the package either by US Postal Mail or FedEx (whichever you elected) we then track it through our internal system. You can track your package online using our website or, contact us directly and speak to one of our customer service representatives.

ARE MY ITEMS SAFE AND SECURE WHILE IN YOUR POSSESSION?
Yes. All shipments sent to us are tracked from the moment they reach our facility. Before and after assessment, your jewelry is kept under lock and key in secure vaults. CashForDiamondRings also has a security system on the building and security cameras throughout the facility to ensure ultimate safety of your diamonds.
